Cool The Conjurer

I was thinking about maybe incorperating a class into guild wars since we already have a ritualist to summon spirits. Why not make a class that summons minions from the elements?

Here's an idea
Name: Conjurer
Attributes:
Water Element Mastery-
this attribute increases the duration and power of water element spells and summonings, which decrease speed, summon water creatures such as skales and Ocean Masters, and inflict damage.
Grass Element Mastery-
this attribute increases the duration and power of Grass element spells and summonings which deal damage, summon earth-bound creatures such as snakes and plants, and heal allies using the power from sunlight.
Summon Mastery-(primary attribute)
this attribute increases the duration and power of summoned creatures. for every 2 ranks in this skill, the summoning gains 10 extra health and 2 extra energy. Also, summoning a creature normally takes a health sacrifice to bind the monster to the area/conjurer. For every 2 ranks in this skill it takes 5% less health to summon a creatures.
Fire Element Mastery-
this attribute increases the power fire element spells and summonings, which deal damage, summons fire creatures such as imps, and sets enemies on fire.

I edited it a bit to make it look better and work more like a seperate class.

We do already have three classes which command minions: the Ritualist, the Necromancer, and the Ranger. If you can prove that this summoner offers something truly novel to the game, then maybe it has value. As it stands, this class doesn't really seem to be anything more than a rehashing of other professions.

Also, an identity would be nice...

Alright ranger's pets don't count at all so lets get rid of that part of your argument. These summonings are more earthbound, you don't need to exploit anything but your own health to cast them so that destroys the necro's part. And these summonings are supposed to have special skills, the ability to power up with the conjurer and gain more powerful abilities along with their master, that stops the ritualist part of your argument. This class in other words plays off of no other profession, it takes a basic idea that several others augment and utilizes it in it's own way and there is no way to make a class that doesn't incorperate something from an already existing profession because there is nothing original left really. Also this profession's summonings are supposed to have there own strategies and attack whoever they want to attack at the moment. They aren't free of the summoner's control or anything (unless someone wants to make it so that a low level conjurer can lose control of a summoned monster that is overpowered by it's level) but they heal who they want and cast spells at the enemy they want to cast spells at.
